Rubber bolt-down cushions have now been installed on Terregles Avenue and Aytoun Road.
Since David was elected Councillor for Pollokshields Ward he has campaigned for traffic calming in West Pollokshields to slow down speeding drivers and boy racers.
Through David’s efforts Land and Environmental Services and Strathclyde Police are taking action to tackle the issue and things seem to be improving in the area. Already local residents have contacted David to say the speed bumps are making a real difference.
David said: “I will continue to work on speeding as it is one of the top priorities for local people – and a safer Pollokshields is my priority too.”
